It has truly been an unusual Spring, one day like winter, the next summer, then
the beautiful days that make you forget the other two.
Everything is so brilliantly green. My snap beans, and tomato's are doing quite lovely, all nestled in their little boxes.
Today is much like a rain forest would be I think, the humidity quiet high, and
cloudy. Everything so lush and beautiful. We are also having lovely soft trade wind breezes.
It is a wonderful day.
Also the first full day I have been at home the whole day in 3 weeks. I have been helping
some folks out, and doing some cleaning and such.
Hopefully my next post will be a bit more interesting, and catch some of your attention.
Until then, I am off to enjoy fresh brewed coffee, and the lovely breeze.

Green Winter and Sweet Dreams
On Saturday we woke to extremely cold weather! Everything so lush with green and beautiful, but so cold. I told hubby we were having a Green Winter.
Sunday still cool, but lovely sunshine, everything so green, lovely day, and lovely children fixing for their mom a beautiful dinner.
My favorites, chicken livers wrapped in bacon, asparagus, mashed potato's with gravy.
Lovely barbecued chicken, green beans with new potato's all cooked and prepared by
the children, fulfilling a lovely dream of how when they are grown, how you want them to be.

The Blur of April
April is a blue to me now, so many things happened, but now the quiet has returned.
I do appreciate all the emails from all who read my blog, and thank you for always being patient with me.
I am in the process of learning how to "Train My Brian".
Pretty much like "How to Train your Dragon". If you have not seen this movie, I can tell you its delightful.
Save all that train the Brain for another time.
A note: 2 weeks of sinus infection
One smashed toe from hubby.
One wedding daughter Ginny.
One old fence removal.
Chinese family needed my help everyday, instead of just Friday's.
Enough said on April.
Now the Merry Month of May.
We are having beautiful weather, and I have snap beans(white half runners) coming up in the box, I am so delighted.
Tomato's are doing very well.
This week-end is more box building for me and himself.
The neighbors are returning from Florida.
They will hopefully be surprised by the removal of the old fence.
I really was not ready for May, but being that it is the 7th day, I suppose I best get going on the things to do this month. I am only 7 days behind.
As always I am a mess.
As always I love you all....

Misty Monday
Its one of those mornings, that just seems wonderfully snugly, smelling the hot fresh coffee brewing, and wrapped in a nice warm sweater.
A misty, chilly rainy day.
I have so much to do, but more inclined to lay around and wrap my special woolie around me, and settle into reading a good book.
My son Brian, has taken to having family gatherings on Sunday afternoon at his house.
It has been wonderful to go over, and enjoy the food and fellowship.
We enjoyed crusted salmon, chicken burgers, and salad. It was delicious, and cooked by the other son Caleb.
I cannot express how delightful these events have been.
Next Sunday is spaghetti!
Well, my wonderful hubby, has began the process of putting in a new fence.
That is a long awaited improvement.
Bless his heart, he worked so hard on that, and it looks so good.
Now, I will be able to put my flower beds in, without the dogs digging them up.
Life is good..

Wednesday's visitor's
I woke early this morning to a worried mind and fretted spirit, the left overs of family and family matters.
I had a lot to do this day, lots of errands, and such. It was with full intention of fulfilling that obligation to the day. However, with overcast skies and an extremely quiet house, it was back to bed I went.
I woke about two hours later, and the day had gone on without me, and delivered, beautiful skies and absolute wonderful balmy breezes.
I made a fresh pot of dark roast coffee, and inhaled the lovely deep aroma, and the lovely fresh breeze flowing across the table.
Outside Larry had placed our swing into its lovely little cage, and the breeze moved it back and forth as if someone was sitting in it, just moving it ever so slightly.
I sipped my coffee and watched as this continued.
In my mind I could see my mom and dad sitting there, just swinging, and how wonderful they looked to be together again.
I could hear them talking, and laughing, and mom singing some silly song.
In my mind it was lovely to see that.
I am sure a projection from my heart.
I finished my coffee, and waved good day to them, as I needed to move on to
the things of the real world.
They left me with a smile and a tear.
I lifted the window over the sink, and filled the sink basin up with suds, and hot water, and gave the last night's dishes a good wash, and sang a silly song.
I greeted the day with a smile, and ran off to do the errands.
When himself came home we ate a good meal, of fried chicken, apples, and green beans, and corn bread, and made our way outside to sit in the swing, and sing.

March-----ing Into Spring
I thought the title rather catchy, however, I must say a bit too over the edge for me.
I think myself more into the slow pace section of this marching.
I have talked a lot of the quiet that we have been experiencing for the last month.
It hardly seems a month now, but it has been.
I am so in love with the quiet.
I grew up that way, where things were quiet, and now it has returned to keep me in the grandest of company.
Himself is a lover of it also.
Life is so stressful, and with 5 children between us, it is often a nerve racking process to sort them.
So all of that being said, I am just whiling away the days, doing nothing.
I mean other than cleaning, and what is absolutely necessary.
Today the sun shines brilliantly, and the traffic is horrible.
I think everyone decided to take their car out for a spin, and a wash.
This is supposed to be a beautiful weather week-end, so we plan on taking advantage of it.
It is shed cleaning time, and picking up dead limbs, and debris from the yard.
It will be good to see things green again.
