A very old book, and lots of 25 cent items. It was so good to be out among the cast offs and enjoy yard sell chatter with the sellers.
More tomorrow, I only have 790 more miles to go.??? Yeah Right..
I think I shall be hard pressed to out do the bed purchase.
I love our new bed, and I enjoy making it up now.
Lets see, I have a lot of things laying in front of me to do, but for the life of me, I cannot decide which project should be first.
We have a door to install on the converted garage, a need for a new bathroom sink, and a shed to make into a cottage.
Hmmmmm, such hard decisions.
Maybe we can start all of them at once, and eventually finish one of them.
Getting back to yard sales, its more of an interesting social outlet for me.
I enjoy hearing the stories, and the town gossip at these events.
Everyone has a story, that is for sure.
Some are so sad, and some are too funny.
None the less all are interesting.
Larry and I watched Mall cop tonight, it was cute.
I am tired, but wanted to leave a little something for the day.
So to all my lovely friends, I leave you with a ta da...
Now, I am off to find my nighty, and bed.
Hope my next post will be more exciting.
I did buy a lottery ticket, and going to check that now.
: )

Ah, I can see the picture better on here. Is it really that long a yard sale, so many miles? How amazing, how did it start, why? We sometimes have them over here now, as well as car boot sales, some of which are posh ones, being held in stately homes where the rich dust off their attic contents and flog them to raise money. I haven't been to one for years, not since I went one time and decided it wasn't for me. I don't like crowds at all. I shall be interested to see what else you buy, if you do.

Oh I do wish we had 'yard sales' by the yard never mind the mile. Such fun such bargins!
