Love Letter's, Letters of hard times, Letter's sharing joys of newborns, and events, Letter's of sorrow for the lost of loved ones.
Hours spent reading the words left behind so long ago, by those long gone now.
All carefully bundled in ribbon, preserved to retain the tears, the joy, the excitement, anticipation, personal bundle's of small history journals.
Letters written with much thought, with much love, words carefully chosen, written out. Stamped, addressed, put in the post, retrieved, received, read, and valued.
I have several hundred of these tucked away, and occasionally pull out to read, and for that moment I am teleported to that time, to that moment, the connection is clear, and the memory of that time is revived. Some of them still bring forth tears, or a laugh, or deep sighs.

Ignore the previous blog comment - even better delete him!
I realised the other day that i hadn't been by to say hello or vice versa for ages so I have popped in to see how you're doing. This was a thoughtful post and delightfully written.
Hope you get the urge to blog again soon.
