There are those moments when you really look at your age.
A reflective moment when you ponder all that you have been, and what you are now.
As himself says, its a sign post!
Such as STOP, and proceed with CAUTION.
That is where I am.
I had a wonderful day, we went treasure hunting at this old warehouse, filled with vintage things, and so much that it rather looks like a museum.
We laughed at some of the old things that we remembered from our child-hood, and things of our children's childhood that are considered collectibles.
We did not purchase anything, but had a grand time looking about.
Then all of the children except one was gathered around a large table, filled with the smell of pit cooked barbecue, and menu's flying around, and the table filled with good eats, lots of jokes, and stories abounded.
This was my gift from himself, that he bought all together for a wonderful meal, at a wonderful barbecue place, with background music of the old blues playing.
It was a delightful time.
It was a good day.
This is my second day of being 57 years old, and now, I am wondering if I am still mid-life?
LOL, I have said it so many time before, I am such a mess.
That still remains a fact of my life.
I am so fortunate to have such a wonderful blood family, a mom, and two sisters left.
I am very fortunate to have all of my children about, and their mates.
I am most fortunate to have such lovely friends, My PFG, and Calico Kate, my next door neighbor Susie, my life long friend Niki.
I am so blessed to have so many in my life, and that love always wins the battles over crape.
I am so blessed to have my Husband. He has been such a blessing to my life, and always promotes the good and right of things.
Never focusing on what we cannot do, but what we can do.
Never allowing the negativity of life and folks to become the dominate factor.
I so adore him.
So I am thinking that I am semi-over the hill now, instead of mid life?
Which it should all be down hill now right?
LOL
We shall see......
On my second day, the hill is looking to be a rather steep decline.
I am a mess..

Well, I guess that as you made no comment, you birthday email was another that somehow didn't reach it's destination when sent by me at the weekend. Some photos and attachments along with them... botheration.
Well, as for being 57 and life being downhill from now... a bit like the body then, everything dropping, going down.... still, in my case, being a short arse as someone once said, before they got the black eye, it doesn't have far to go!!
Life is what you make it sweetie... if you think it downhill, see it as downhill, then that is surely what it will be. You still have some years of your fifties left, make them count.#
Life is an adventure, you know that's how I like to look at it, despite the bitch of a hand it dealt me at times. I won't be beaten by any of it, by any of my family who try to defeat me. No Way.
And you get your own space again, so let's raise a cup of cheer and say HOORAH for being US.

Just looking at over the hill, and not liking the thrill ride of downhill.. LOL
