Oh The Snow of it All

Ok I admit, I am a back slider..
Though I did make an effort to resist the temptation of pizza. I held the phone for about 5 minutes, then,
I watched as my fingers dialed the local Pizza Hut, to order their large speciality
pizza for 10 bucks. Its strange my fingers know the numbers!!!!!!
Its only day 7, I justified.
Its only 10 bucks, and a tip.
The world could end in a few minutes..????
Honestly I should not have ordered the chocolate dunking sticks, they are so evil.
Its too late to to un order it now.
We have been pretty hammered with snow, and more snow, and more to come.
My sister who lives in the Sunny land of Florida, is alarmed that they may actually be getting snow their way. OMG, that is like Hell freezing over..
Thus the need to console myself of all the times, I have said, "Ok when Hell freezes over I will". (In case you don't recognize this expression it is very Southern)
At the moment we are having snow whirl winds, its so neat to watch from our very warm room.
It is truly a winter wonder land out there.
Lets see, pizza on the way, hot coffee brewing, hubby on the way home, has all the makings of a good evening, just a good old movie now, and we are on the way to that.

We live too far away from a town to have such a thing as a fast food delivery service, but wouldn't use it anyway. I can see how you could be tempted though, on those days when inspiration as to what to cook seems to have left, when the energy and interest went before that! But I can appreciate the being snuggy inside while the world is white and beautiful, but damned cold, outside. We expect our weekend to be much the same, only without the pizza.
Good to see you following my old sweetheart Fyldecoaster... he needs all the support he can get... it's his age you know! If he reads this, I shall be in for some email from him!

Awww that is too bad, however I do believe if there was a fish and chip delivery that you would be tempted.. : )
The pizza was hot, fresh, and so delish. I enjoyed each bite, and now have to recover from that moment, and find some shall we say
more healthy meals.
I do love what you write about cooking, and often try to replicate your dishes. I am sure they are not as good as yours.
I am sitting here at the desk with an electric heater warming my toes.
It is very cold here.
Any friend of yours is one of mine sweetie.
hugs and smiles to you : )

Well, we have a mobile fish and chip shop/van comes to the village every Friday and conveniently (if you like to get high on the smell) parks just fifty yards away or so. We could easily nip out and get some hot, vinegary fish and chips. And have, once. But my poor ulcerated tum can't take them...only home made, with oven cooked fish and chips, and then, only once a month at most.
